The ongoing maintenance of each customer’s landscaping is a critical component of our services. D & A Dunlevy is always mindful that landscaping is a large investment that ought to be cared for and protected. Knowledge of current horticultural practices and routine training are built into the make-up of our Residential Landscape Management division. Spring Clean-Up: Our spring clean-ups consist of the horticulturally appropriate pruning of all ornamental plant material, cleaning of all lawn and landscape areas, carving new edges to separate lawn areas from planting beds, power edging around patios, walkways and driveways, appropriate fertilization of all plant material, application of pre-emergent herbicide (weed control), and applying a fresh layer of high quality hardwood mulch.
Monthly Maintenance Visits: When D & A Dunlevy visits your property we focus our care on planting beds and ornamental plants. Our Monthly Maintenance Visits include light pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs, weeding and re-defining of bed edges, and mulch touch-up to maintain a crisp appearance. All plant material is regularly inspected for health, vigor, and the presence of insect and disease. Trees and shrubs are treated appropriately at the first sign of a problem. Our Monthly Maintenance Visits ensure your property always presents itself elegantly.
Turf Care: D & A Dunlevy’s turf care program provides up to seven annual treatments, which include fertilization, weed and insect control, aerating and overseeding, and any necessary pH adjustment.
Tree & Shrub Care: D & A Dunlevy’s tree and shrub program provides pest management and nutrient requirements to all ornamental plants.
Seasonal Color Rotations: Annual flowers provide high impact color to make your property stand out. We typically provide for seasonal flower rotations that are tailored to suit your preferences.
Leaf Removal: D & A Dunlevy provides complete removal of leaves from all lawn and landscaped areas at various times through the fall season.
D & A Dunlevy Landscapers, Inc. is licensed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture as a Pesticide Applicator and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Forestry Division as a Tree Expert. Both David Dunlevy and Blake Dunlevy are certified Arborists by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
