Our Personnel

The way our management is structured allows us to offer a variety of services that fall under the umbrella of landscape contracting. This allows us to provide a more complete landscape service fulfilling nearly all of our customer’s needs with just one phone call. D & A Dunlevy is licensed for home improvement in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.; certified and licensed in pest management; certified arborists through the International Society of Arboriculture; Licensed Tree Experts in the state of Maryland.

Each construction and installation crew is led by a “crew leader” with a minimum of five (5) years experience, including a minimum of three (3) of these years with D & A Dunlevy Landscapers, Inc.

David Dunlevy has been in the landscape industry since the mid 1970s. He is the president of the company and oversees all of the construction operations.

Blake Dunlevy has worked for D & A Dunlevy since 1996. In 2004, he joined our company on a full time basis after studying landscape architecture at West Virginia University. Presently, Blake oversees all landscape design and installation operations.

Mark Ryba, our maintenance general manager has been with us since 1986. He oversees all of the quality control issues and daily operations for each of our seven (7) maintenance crews

We have always controlled the growth of our company in an effort to provide the necessary specialized attention to our customers from our senior management. The result is uninterrupted supervision for every project.

We are at our best when installing a multi-dimensional job that requires participation from each of our crews. After a landscape/construction project is completed, our customers are provided the opportunity to contract services provided by our landscape maintenance division. Our maintenance services ensure the proper care of your new landscape, allowing you to enjoy your investment for years to come.
