Project Details
This project began in early March 2008 and the majority of it was completed by mid July 2008. The final elements of the installation were complete by late October 2008. This project was designed by Andy Balderson of Donovan, Feola, Balderson & Associates. The photos within this gallery were shot in 6 sessions through the course of the project. The finished product photos were taken on September 19, 2008. The only element shown in this gallery that was not installed by D & A Dunlevy Landscapers Inc. is the statue in the center of the garden area. All of the other site work, construction, hardscaping, and landscaping fell within the scope of our contract. Please note that one of the largest challenges of this project was access to the rear yard; only a very narrow walkway allowed machinery in to demolish the pool. Most of the structural fill and topsoil was hauled into the rear yard by way of temporary access ramps by hand and with an undersized front end loader. One aspect of this project that is not shown by the photos is an exterior waterproofing repair that was performed before the patios were installed.
