- Possess a valid drivers license
- Be able to instruct crew leaders
- Have the ability to communicate with customers
- Have the ability to deal with suppliers & vendors
- Possess superior organizational skills
- Possess enthusiasm and creativity
- Have mastery over construction and horticultural principles (for our landscape superintendents)
- Have mastery over turf grass and horticultural maintenance principles (for our maintenance superintendents)

Our crew leaders are key in unlocking each crew’s efficiency and the artistry found in each project. D & A Dunlevy’s crew leaders work side-by-side with our designers. This guarantees that they both understand, and install, exactly what our customers have in mind.
Landscape Crew Leaders must:

- Possess a good working knowledge of landscape or hardscape installation
Maintenance Crew Leaders:
Our Maintenance Crew Leaders understand that installation is only the first step in a long journey; they enjoy the task of overseeing the maturation of fine landscapes. Our crew leaders work with property managers and homeowners to keep properties at their best.
Maintenance Crew Leaders must:
- Posess a good work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Have the ability to lead and instruct crew members
- Have the ability to communicate with the homeowner and the superintendent
- Possess a good working knowledge of proper horticultural maintenance practices
